luvsjazz - Weiss Drabble: Different

I miss Weiss.  I really do.  There was such good fic to read when I first got into this fandom a couple of years ago by authors who either don't write at all anymore, or who just don't write Weiss.  Makes me sad.  I've personally never had much of a muse, or at least not one that has much to say.  So here's another 100 word one.

If things had been different....

He thought he'd given up thinking that way.
If things had been different, he would have lived in a happy, two parent home.
He would have gotten good grades, had clothes in his closet, food in the fridge.
He would have seen his mother more than just in passing between her jobs.
He would have never been an errand boy for that gang, never found his first love on one of his runs, never seen her get killed.

He would have never found the love of his life.

He really wished things had been different.
